Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor

Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor is a unique game that is available in the App Store for $2.99. In the game, you are a spider that travels the depths of an abandoned mansion while preying on dozens and dozens of insects.
The first thing that will catch your attention is the creative art style, and the soothing music. Even though spiders give me the creeps, I find this game relaxing and enjoyable.
The main objective of this game is to eat insects that you can only capture by using your webs. Spinning webs is easy, you could do so by tapping and swiping gestures. You can tap on the right to make your spider go to right, and left to make it go to the left. To jump, swipe your finger from the spider to the object you want to be on. Tapping on the spider before take-off creates a strand of silk from where you start and end. Connect three or more of those strands to trap nearby insects, and enjoy their tasty flesh. You may struggle with the controls, but when you get you use to it, they feel very natural.
There are four game modes included in this game. Those four are, Adventure, Feeding Frenzy, Hunger Mode, and Precision. Adventure takes you through the mansion to collect certain numbers of insects/bugs. When you collect as many amount as the level requires, a portal opens and take you to the next level. Feeding Frenzy gives you three minutes to consume as many insects/bugs as you can. The Hunger Mode gives you a life meter that drops consistently unless you eat some insects. Last but not least, Precision gives your spider less silk and shorter threads.
The menus and the online leaderboards are easy to use, the style is original, and the game is just plain fun. The controls might be a pain in the beginning, but once you mastered it, the gameplay starts to get fluid and relaxing.
