Samurai: Way of the Warrior

Samurai: Way of the Warrior is a hack ‘n slash game for the iPhone and the iPod Touch, that’s available for $2.99. In the game menu, you are greeted with New Game, Dojo, and Help. I would suggest tapping on Help to get familiar with the game play and the controls.
Starting a New Game will take you to a slide show that will tell you the plot. There’s a full story behind this game, because it’s a novel. When the slide show ends, you go straight into the game. By reading the slide show you could figure out who you will be, the Samurai, of course. The game is beautifully designed and well-detailed. But, the sound effects that your enemies make can get annoying and repetitive.
Your objective is to basically kill all of the enemies that are living. You can do so by swiping your finger into different directions, and that could also give you combos. The game might get challenging as you go through deeper levels, and executing different combos will get you through.
Overall the game is very well-created and original, especially the controls. The controls can be a pain; because when you swipe your finger it doesn’t always register. So, that would mean that you would have to swipe a couple of times to get the move. And the other down side to this game is the sound effect. But, if you’re looking for a hack ‘n slash game, this is definitely the one! Check it out! You maybe be interested if you also read the novel by Chris Bradford.
