Goodbye

February 26, 2010 iPod15 4 comments

I will be leaving Marks iPod Touch for good. It has been great being here on this blog. I have learned a lot from it. We even had 10,000+ uniques in less then 1 hour. We used to be updated a lot, always adding new stuff. It seems everyone has lost interest. I can’t update this whole site myself, and have the owner not even interested in this. Thank you guys, I have had a great time here, but it looks like this is my time to leave.

New Theme For Forum

February 12, 2010 iPod15 Leave a comment

There has been just about no news here for about a month. I am very sorry about that. But what I would like to announce is that the forum has gotten a new theme. We have also, about a month ago, moved to paid hosting. I am not sure if Mark would like to move to my server or not. Anyways, just trying to keep you updated!

Psystar Loses The Battle

November 21, 2009 iPod15 Leave a comment

From MacRumors.com

Groklaw reports on the early outcome of the Apple vs. Psystar case from a report filed on Friday. According to the court documents, Apple’s motion for summary judgment on copyright infringement and DMCA violation is granted.

So that means damages ahead for Psystar on the copyright issues just decided on summary judgment, at a minimum. The court asked for briefs on that subject. In short, Psystar is toast. Psystar’s only hope now is Florida, and frankly I wouldn’t bet the house on that one. Judges notice if you were just found guilty of a similar cause of action in another state.
Psystar and Apple have been in legal battle after Psystar began selling Mac clones back in April. Psystar provided modified versions of Mac OS X to run on their generic PC hardware, opening the door for lower-cost Mac clones. Psystar’s efforts generated a massive amount of attention and Apple eventually filed suit in July citing copyright violations.

This judgement appears to end Psystar as a business despite continued efforts to establish a legitimate business on generic Mac OS X computers.

While searching online I found a very good looking controller for the iPod/iPhone. It works with 3.0 and has an 8-way d-pad, connects via Bluetooth, and a built in battery. It’s supposed  to be released sometime in 2010.  It has its own SDK for developers. This would be great for emulators. Here’s a pic:Game Bone

Eliminate Pro

November 13, 2009 iPod15 2 comments

Eliminate Pro is a very stunning game. It has excellent  graphics and a very good online playing system. It  features several in-depth maps, upgradable guns, armor, and matchmaking. This game is a must-have for all iPod/iPhone gamers. It is free, but energy cells are expensive. If you don’t want to pay for the energy you have to wait until it automatically recharges.
